An open lesson on the topic “Assets, Liabilities and Equity” was held at the School of Taxation.
An open English lesson on the topic “Assets, Liabilities and Equity” was conducted for the students of ST-26-02 group by Malika Alimardonova, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Language Teaching at the School of Taxation.

During the open lesson, interactive teaching methods aimed at developing students’ professional and communicative competencies in English were employed. Particular attention was paid to integrating theoretical knowledge with practical tasks throughout the lesson.
During the lesson, the startup projects independently prepared by the students were presented in English, followed by a discussion of their content and presentation skills. In addition, interactive learning platforms such as Bamboozle and Blooket were used to complete tasks aimed at reinforcing topic-related terminology and vocabulary.
In the practical part of the lesson, tasks were organized based on case studies designed to closely reflect real business activities. In particular, concepts related to assets, liabilities, and equity were analyzed in English using hypothetical business projects such as “Lola's Flower Shop,” “Oqtosh Taxi Service,” and “CodeNest IT” as examples.
The use of interactive methods and practical tasks during the open lesson contributed to increasing students’ engagement, developing their ability to apply topic-related terminology in practical situations, and enhancing their skills in expressing independent opinions in English.
