The second stage of the English Language Olympiad was held at the School of Taxation to assess students’ English language proficiency, practical language skills, and academic potential.

The primary objective of organizing the Olympiad is to further enhance students’ proficiency in English as a means of international communication, develop their independent and logical thinking, academic and communication skills, as well as identify students with high levels of knowledge and potential.

The second stage of the competition was attended by students who successfully passed the qualifying round. Participants’ English language knowledge and skills were comprehensively assessed in four areas: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking.

During the assessments, in addition to their vocabulary and grammatical knowledge, students were also evaluated on their ability to understand English texts, accurately comprehend information they heard, express their thoughts coherently in written form, and engage effectively in oral communication.

The Olympiad provided participants with an important platform to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, further strengthen their motivation for self-development, and foster their desire to acquire new knowledge.
