Tax Higher School Strengthens the Integration of Theory and Practice
Tax Higher School places particular emphasis on improving the quality of education, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and preparing students for professional careers in the tax sector. To this end, experienced professionals working within the Tax Committee system are regularly invited to conduct classes, introducing students to real-world work processes and practical experience in taxation.
Khusan Zaripov, Associate Professor of the Department of Specialized Disciplines, organized a practical session for students of group ST-26-01 as part of the Introduction to Taxation course. The session focused on the topic “Economic and Legal Interpretations of Taxes.” Sherzodbek Kuchkorov, Senior Tax Inspector at the Interregional Tax Inspectorate for Large Taxpayers of the Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, also took part in the session.
Through practical examples, the session explained the role of taxes in generating state budget revenue, their importance in regulating economic processes, and the legal foundations of tax relations. Students also learned about experience in working with large taxpayers, modern approaches to tax administration, digitalization processes, and the application of information technologies.
The value of such sessions lies in giving students the opportunity to learn directly from professionals working in the tax system about current developments in the sector, practical challenges encountered in the workplace, and ways to address them.
