An open lesson on “Assets, Liabilities and Equity” was held at the Tax Higher School.
Malika Alimardonova, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Language Teaching at the Tax Higher School, conducted an open English lesson on “Assets, Liabilities and Equity” for students of group ST-26-02.

During the open lesson, interactive teaching methods were used to develop students’ professional and communication competencies in English. Particular emphasis was placed on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical tasks.
During the lesson, students presented their independently developed startup projects in English, followed by a discussion of the project content and their presentation skills. In addition, tasks designed to reinforce subject-specific terminology and expand vocabulary were completed using the interactive learning platforms Bamboozle and Blooket.
The practical part of the lesson involved case-based tasks reflecting real-world business scenarios. Using hypothetical business projects such as “Lola's Flower Shop”, “Oqtosh Taxi Service”, and “CodeNest IT”, students analysed the concepts of assets, liabilities, and equity in English.
The use of interactive methods and practical tasks during the open lesson helped increase student engagement, develop the ability to apply subject-specific terminology in practical situations, and strengthen students’ skills in expressing their ideas independently in English.
