A festive event titled “We Pay Tribute to You, Dear Teachers” was held in celebration of Teachers and Mentors Day on 1 October.
A teacher is a remarkable individual who plants the seeds of goodness in people’s hearts, imparts knowledge and moral values, and guides them in choosing their path in life. That is why the profound respect and appreciation shown to teachers and mentors in our country are cherished as one of our people’s noble traditions.

The festive event, embodying these noble values, brought together the leadership of the Tax Committee, distinguished guests, academic staff, employees, students, and trainees.
At the beginning of the celebration, a video featuring heartfelt messages from students dedicated to their teachers and mentors was shown. The sincere wishes expressed in different languages conveyed deep respect and gratitude to the educators who teach and nurture the younger generation.
Speaking at the event, A. Fayzibayev, Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, extended his warm congratulations to teachers and mentors on their professional holiday and emphasized their invaluable role in shaping the younger generation into educated, patriotic, and responsible individuals.
As was highlighted, the development of any sector depends first and foremost on the training of qualified and dedicated professionals. At the heart of this process lie the hard work, knowledge, and experience of teachers.
Especially in today's rapidly changing world, providing young people with modern knowledge and guiding them towards independent thinking, research, and professional development require a high level of responsibility from teachers and mentors.
The celebration also recognized the dedication of academic staff and employees who conscientiously fulfil this honourable and responsible mission.
Throughout the event, students presented musical performances, dance compositions, and creative programmes dedicated to their teachers. Each performance conveyed respect, heartfelt gratitude, and sincere wishes for their educators.
Distinguished guests also congratulated the participants and extended their warm wishes to teachers and mentors.
As part of the celebration, a symbolic opening ceremony of the Tax Higher School was held. One of the most significant symbolic moments was the presentation of the golden key of the Tax Higher School to students. The symbolic key represented new opportunities for young people to gain knowledge, pursue self-development, and take confident steps towards the future.
In addition, participants planted the symbolic tree of the Tax Higher School. The tree-planting ceremony added special meaning to the event, symbolizing good intentions, constructive efforts, and the commitment to creating favourable conditions for future generations.
At the conclusion of the event, guests were shown the facilities and opportunities provided for students and trainees at the Tax Higher School. In particular, they visited the facilities established for the variety arts association, model rooms in the student dormitory, the Information and Resource Centre, the summer and winter sports complexes, and the academic classrooms.
The active participation of students in reading, sports, and educational activities was also showcased, highlighting the opportunities being created at the institution to support the comprehensive development of young people.
The celebration held in honour of Teachers and Mentors Day on 1 October once again demonstrated the enduring significance of this noble mission.
The community of the Tax Higher School extends its heartfelt congratulations to all teachers and mentors on their professional holiday!
We wish you good health, family well-being, great success in your honourable and responsible work, the fulfilment of your noble aspirations, and the happiness of witnessing your students' growth and achievements!
