Goals and Functional Responsibilities of the Department

• Developing students’ general professional, humanitarian, and social knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as fostering their legal, economic, historical, and spiritual outlook;

• Developing students’ proficiency in foreign languages and information and communication technologies, and contributing to their development as physically and spiritually healthy individuals;

• Developing curricula and syllabi in general professional and humanities disciplines, organizing classes at a high scientific and methodological level, and assessing students’ knowledge;

• Organizing spiritual and educational activities aimed at fostering patriotism, legal and environmental awareness, and respect for national and universal human values among students;

• Conducting scientific research in the fields of humanities and socio-economic studies, and preparing educational and methodological complexes, textbooks, and teaching aids;

• Organizing students’ participation in scientific and practical conferences, creative competitions, as well as physical education and sports activities;

• Distributing the teaching workload among academic staff, developing individual work plans, and considering educational, methodological, educational-developmental, and scientific issues at department meetings;

• Developing a database of tests and assessment tasks for academic disciplines, and monitoring students’ knowledge of foreign languages and information and communication technologies;

• Developing proposals for improving the qualifications of academic staff and enhancing their scientific potential.
